A man's been charged with using a meat cleaver to attack a family walking through Sydney's southwest.

The attack occured in broad daylight yesterday afternoon on a busy street in Lakemba.

A 48-year-old Greenacre man was walking along Haldon Street with his wife and three children when another man approached them.

A scuffle broke out - the other man running into a nearby shop and stealing a meat-cleaver before swinging it at the 48 year old and striking him in the neck ...
