Estimates on the number of participants vary between 300,000 and one million, but everybody agrees that it was the biggest such demonstration ever held in Ankara ... Turkish media however widely ignored this event not to upset the government. This alone proves people's worries about the Islamic AKP government, and the weak and dependent (quite disgusting) structure of the Turkish media:
